House Wiring 2 Way Light Switch. I have many analogue dimmers around my house but of course these wont dim a smart bulb such as Hue. Double receptacle circuit with shared neutral wire (receptacles alternate circuits).
I checked all switches on that circuit and found nothing. I have had this one switch that has always powered nothing, not a light I found no other switch in the house that this could turn on/off. This is the most common lighting system in Europe, almost all homes use this system, especially in the UK and Nordic regions.
There have been a number of switches in the house that were wired wrong (two-way feeding into three-way, etc.) so it wouldn't surprise me if this is wrong too, I just haven't been able to figure out.
Two way light switch diagram or staircase lighting wiring diagram.
For example, this allows lighting in a hallway, stairwell, or other large rooms to be controlled from multiple locations. In the picture the two wires. In building wiring, multiway switching is the interconnection of two or more electrical switches to control an electrical load (often, but not always, lighting) from more than one location.
